Surface Design Demonstration

Join the Humboldt Handweavers and Spinners Guild as we welcome Jennifer Mackey, textile artist and designer, to our September meeting. Jennifer will present a brief retrospective of her work, culminating in how she currently incorporates printmaking, shibori, stitching, and poetry to evoke her art in silks and other natural fibers. By sharing her creative journey, she encourages fiber artists to explore new fiber and media that will enable them to feel expansive and unlimited in the studio.
