Stewarding Lost River Tour

Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, September 7th for the Stewarding Lost River Tour, led by Tasha McKee & Cam Thompson. Hikers will be introduced to Sanctuary Forest’s restoration activities in Lost River, a tributary of the Mattole River, including ponds, instream restoration, groundwater recharge, etc. Meet at 10am at the Sanctuary Forest office, the hike will end around 3pm, there will be an opportunity to carpool. Bring lunch and plenty of water for this two-mile, slow-moving tour of multiple sites at two locations. RSVPs are recommended.
