Migrations: Walking Together

Migrations is an original, multi-disciplinary, multicultural project that offers dance, movement, storytelling, puppetry, music, poetry, and much more. The structure of this event is a procession that takes place on Wiyot land. We will start at Valley West Park, Hallen Drive, at 9:00 a.m., and end at the Arcata Community Forest 14th St entrance around 2:30 p.m, with performances by Centro del Pueblo, Blue Lake Choir, Yurok Tribal Elder, Humboldt Lao Dancers, and Humboldt Taiko along the way. Come and walk the whole route (about 5 miles) or just drop in for a performance or two!
