Lane Closure at Slough Bridge on Highway 101

The city of Eureka Public Works is reporting that the number two northbound lane of  U.S. Highway 101 at the Slough Bridge will be closed until mid-afternoon as crews are working to repair a water main break.

Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to take alternate routes if possible.
"The patience and cooperation of motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians in the vicinity of the work zone is greatly appreciated," the release states.
