McKinleyville Pedestrian Extricated After Being Trapped Under Vehicle

A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in the 1500 block of City Center Road by the Safeway in McKinleyville was being taken to the hospital after being extricated from under the vehicle just before 2:30 p.m.
According to the scanner and to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, the woman’s leg had been trapped under the vehicle.
