Advisory
All along this lost coastline
where narrow afterthoughts of beach
back onto sheer-face cliff
there's a sleeper wave lurking
one breath back of the horizon
bigger than you can believe,
faster than you'll run.
Wrong place, wrong time
and that ocean's joker
will suck your carcass
straight out of your shoes
no matter what you've planned
for later in the day.
